A few years ago we wrote about Kitana, one of our students that has experienced homelessness along with her mother, grandmother, and her siblings. We have had the privilege of working wit Kitana, getting to know her and getting to watch her grow in creativity, ability and leadership skills. We are thrilled to announce that Kitana has been accepted to Washington State University and is getting ready to embark on her first year of college.
